SEVEIRVILLE, TENNESSEE
Corvette Expo has moved to Sevierville,
Tennessee . This year's events are held at the Sevierville Events
center at Bridgemont. The
center is located 6 miles off I 40, exit 407, the Pigeon Forge-
Gatlinburg exit, approximately 13 miles East of Knoxville
and 21 miles from the previous location at Chillhowee park. This year, the
Expo Auction will be held on the grounds of the Events center
adjacent to the huge indoor facility at Bridgemont. Auction
time is 11:00 AM and is held on Saturday of the event. The State
of Tennessee requires that all cars auctioned to the public must
be 25 years old (1983 and older). Corvettes and other classic
and muscle cars are welcome. For best numbers call the Expo
office today at 865/687-3976. Auction registration is only
$150.00 per car, prime time numbers from 20 to 50 are available
for $200.00. Multiple car discounts are available to dealers and
collectors bringing more than 2 cars to the Auction. If your car
does not sell on the block, it will automatically be placed in
the Expo Sales Corral for the remainder of the weekend at no
additional charge. Bidders must register with proof of funds,
and a buyers premium of 5% will be added to each successful bid.
The Expo Auction is conducted by Thompson. Carr and Assoc. LLC.. of
Sevierville, TN Firm # 4203. The two day event also features a
Swap Meet and Sales Corral as well as The Diamond Awards Show
– judged competition show.
